LONDON, UK – Sixfold Bioscience's co-CEO, Dr. George Foot, joins a delegation of key figures from the UK's biotech industry as part of the Bioindustry Association's (BIA) 2023 Parliament Day. The event brought together 38 biotechnology leaders and 30 senior stakeholders, including key figures from governmental departments.
Number 10 Downing Street was a particular highlight, where members of the delegation met the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, Chloe Smith MP, and Bill Morgan, Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Health.
Leading voices from the biotech industry have been instrumental in addressing critical policies, such as R&D tax credits and the Innovative Medicines Fund, ensuring the life science sector's voice is heard and understood at the highest levels of governance.
